Relaxing a bit with making holes in concrete floors in two houses where water is gonna find its way between those houses & the other day a pal up north said he might sell his customized -55 Starlight & he said he was after something else but not Chevy or whatever usual old cars most people fancy & then he asked me to send new pictures of Josephine... but he's not gonna buy & I'm gonna keep her, only for inspiration.
Then I though I might show the pictures the way she looks now:

Nox, when the bell crank pivot arrives the zerk fitting is just finger tight, so you can remove it without damaging it on installation. It is a 1/4" x 28 with a 5/16" hex. in case you want to add a longer zerk.

Ok thanx!
(I had to google "zerk", one of the few words we didn't learn in school or I didn't get from song lyrics, but it was easy to find.)
It might be easy to use the old one if needed, I'll relativly soon find out.
(When my pal Bart sent me the shims it was just in the begining of the corona & it sure took a long time to get here but this time I think & hope it will go faster.)

So nox, are you happy with the paint color on the roof? Looks like a pretty nice color to me, but pictures can make a color look different than in real life. What are the plans for painting the rest of the car?

The shade on the right/passanger side front fender is good but I still haven't found a dark red that aint purple or brown. & I wanna paint the rest but first I have to weld all the holes on the sides.
Thou at the moment I'm "in the digging (by hand) & pluming business" so Josephine is suffering alone in the barn now.

The reason for my dark red idea is that in the late 90's I saw a movie that was about some black americans & in a short scene the main family came home from a party late in the night (at least that's how I remember it) with another couple who drove a dark red 53-54 sedan without the grille chrome, & that image has been stuck in my head since then.
Now I know that the car probably was a Shoshone Red -54 & in daylight that color is a bit purple & that's not what I want.
I've always wonderd why the car lacked the grille trim... & I've searched internet for the movie that I don't remember the name of without any luck. & maby I've also mentioned this here before?

I found it impossible to get into the S.D.C.'s forum, is it only for me? It said something about a pirate attack... Hope it passes & that it's only me!

nox, I'm getting an error on the SDC site too. It looks like their Domain Validation Secure Server Certification is out of date (expired on July 01).
