What was up with the steering at the car show?

I really don't know what the problem was yet.
I trailer'd it home, backed it off onto the driveway and the steering worked perfectly?????
I still plan to take the steering box apart and look for any broken/missing/worn parts.

This car has been a blast, I take it out every weekend to the local Doughnut Derelicts.
Here is the Stude-A-Shaker after I had the lettering done by a local pin stripper.
