Any performance difference between early and late 4-bbl intake?

Post by PackardV8 » 31 Oct 2019, 12:09

I just realized, I've never done a side-by-side flow bench or dyno comparison between the '55-'62 WCFB intake and the '62-64 AFB. Has anyone ever documented how the two compare?

Not here.
But with the ports being the same..? Other than the gasket pad, and holes being slightly different, I'd assume that the port cross section is the same between the manifolds.
The runners must still match up to the standard head. In the manifolds I've seen, there doesn't appear to be any taper anywhere in the runners, just a different mounting pad.

But...any one else..?
