Yeah, I reckon there's "a few" laying around in the US but I hope I find one here. & the shipping sure is no fun.
It's also possible to cut the existing one from where the pipe meets the bulb housing down diagonal to the bottom where the bulb meets the plate, turn in a quarter & weld it, but that mean I would need cast iron electrodes & then it's the cooling that has to be really s l o w in insolation & preferable in an oven, but I'll wait with that until I'm out of all the other options.
Here are pix of it from other angles:

As you probably seen I asked on stove huggers about MoPar camshaft specs & Jack Vines took time to figure out the specs for me. So now I have something to go on to get Josephine more suited to this site:
(I think I'm gonna raise the compression too)

How are you going to raise the compression -- cut the heads, or change the pistons?

Heads is my first thought but I wanna get some extra pair so I don't have to have her standing still for more than a day or so. The biggest problem right now is cash as I'm only working 20% = one day / week due to people being poor so the cafe' is on idle as are we.
I have Josephine's first 318 sitting so I hope I can make some trade with that one, it's from the -77 Volare wagon I bought & took the whole driveline from, it's all described at the beginning of her story here. Later on I took the roller cam 318 & overdrive trans from the Dodge van we sold.

I lifted about 60 heavy concrete plates today so in the afternoon I fell asleep in the sofa while resting my back & I wasn't the only one sleeping, Sonja caught the non-action:

Oh we know, story of our lifes...

I might try to make a plate to get a 2-bolted thermostat house on the 4-bolted water pump if no side pointing house turns up here.

The diamond shaped thermo housing outlet , does fit 2 of the opposite bolts on the square one like you have .
Since they were used for many years on SBC's , there might be one of those available over there...? The Thermostats are the same size, so
the hole for the water lines up . I tried the closest to the configuration on a square outlet , and I think that there is enough meat around the hole to seal ok .
They come in various configurations , and with " sideways " orientation should give you more vertical clearance .
You are good at making things work , so .......
If you can't get there in a STUDEBAKER,
it ain't worth goin' .

I wanna show the shape I see but when I take a photo it just doesn't show the same, but anyway; here's the shapes seen from other angles than straight from the front:

Here's some serious off topic; in 79-80 I had a -64 Malibu SS that had its history on the strip & it was a real hot car!
I have always taken photos of my cars but that one + a -67 Suburban are the only cars I forgot to shoot & it's been a "pain in my brain" ever since. The Malibu was crashed & scrapped later on, I don't know when.
Today I'm a VERRY happy guy; 1-2 weeks ago I joined a "rockers group" on facebook & yesterday I asked if anyone knew the car & today I GOT THIS ! ! ! :
(wonder why the narrow tires)

Me too.
Most of the Panel paint / mural paint work around here was done using a fancy table cloth (the style that you could see through, layed down over the area to be painted.
Then, several light coats of paint were sprayed over the cloth, so the open cloths shapes of the cloth were transferred to the cars body. Then pinstriping was done around the edges to make it nice and finished looking.

Wow, a roller cam for your engine. Sounds good.

As I recall, if you use a Chevrolet thermostat housing on the Stude, you can use either pattern direction, and nothing will leak. You don't need an adapter plate. The new housing still fully covers the whole thermostat opening.

That Chevy was my second US car, the -62 Valiant I've already showed I had also at the same time & longer, from -78 till -84, but the Chevy I didn't have for long. It had a 327 that had so much done to it that it filled two pages, only for the engine! 4 on the floor ofcourse & a clutch that made it totally impossible to let go without noice from the tires, not those on the picture, & it was almost impossible not to spin the wheels & get good grip when I raced it.
Next car was a -65 Skylark, nice but rather boring.

The guy I bought the Chrysler from have some other MoPars too & one of his Imperials have the kinda paint on its roof where someone (maybe him, I don't know) have painted over laze on the roof.

I've tried MoPar thermostat housings I have laying & they fit but the ones I have point upwards too so I'm getting a side pointing one.
