I'll start with a pic of Grant Pierano's Avanti. He is from California and has been in the 9's on the drag strip and the car has now been converted for Lakes events and has gone quite well

Nice, thanx! Sure looks racy inside too, but is it a wooden steering wheel? Is that aproved at the track? Fuel cell inside, does it good for weight / ballance? & what's the thing on the passanger side of the engine front, some pump?

I have no details about the car , really .
I'm sure though , that the wheel is metal with a wooden outer grip .
The pump on the engine is probably a vacuum pump for the crank case , but that's just my guess .
